What Is Paid AutoSurf Traffic

August 22nd, 2008

increase online trafficI was doing search queries in Google looking for others offering services that offer professional seo and promise to increase online traffic. What I came across was a series of MySpace, Youtube, Squidoo and other social networking profiles. None offering a specialized service but instead directing readers towards and affiliate program that offers “Paid AutoSurf Traffic” where you pay a fee and then in return are supposed to get paid back.

Okay, this sounds a bit fishy to me! The idea somehow revolves around getting people to spend time on a directory engine search other peoples sites who in return search your site and in return money gets passed around while also some how giving you a stronger web presence. Now, this sounds just like Traffic Exchanges which were created to inprove your Alexa rating.

Being in the industry of online everything for the past 9 years, I have learned a few things. Anything you do involving generating hits to your site increase online traffic usually doesn’t do anything but cause you to spend money and on top of that time.

My suggestion is if you are going spend your time and money to build up website traffic don’t pay into programs that boost Alexa or Google Pagerank. Though it is nice to see these things, what is more important is keyword ranking. To get your keywords to show up in the search results has a much great impact. Here some ways to do this:

  1. Add a custom worpdress blog to your site
  2. Add content to your blog weekly
  3. Social bookmark your blog posts and your site pages
  4. Build links from directories and other popular blog sites
  5. Join Social Network sites and add lots of instructional information
  6. Keep your site updated and fresh with seo copy

There are many ways to build legit traffic on your own or through professional seo companies, and if they are a legit company they will offer the above services and more!
