Increase Website Traffic using quality content and a small network of blog site. The obstacles that every site owner faces and how they accomplish success depends on their willingness to research and keep at it until they do. There are millions of websites and to gain positions in the SERPs over your competition can seem impossible or just too much to handle. To gain an edge in your market you have to go beyond what others are doing! To increase website traffic you have to be willing to do what ever it takes.

Before you decide here that you want to spend hours, days, weeks and months with trial and error methods I suggest you take a step back and properly plan your business venture and decide on a few important factors:

1. How will your site make money
2. Who is your demographic
3. What search engine should you optimize for
4. Where you spend most of your time building links
5. When will you have time to make all these things happen

After you have these things set in place then a great strategy to plan ahead is to build a set of mini sites. In fact I would call them “mini blog sites”. You can find hosting plans for about $12.95 a month that offer you space for multiple websites under a dedicated IP “Host Gator“. You create a host account purchase some domains that go after 1 keyword and install wordpress blog on them. Then you find a free template to give a nice look. After it is installed add a combination of Pages and Posts using 1 keyword and then based on that keyword a series of long tail and short tail keywords to compliment your main keyword. Write fun, useful content to fill up at least 4 Pages and about 10 blog posts and link all the keywords on each of those posts/pages to your main site and inner pages of your main site for deep linking strategies.

All you need to do after that is add some blog posts to it once a while (maybe 5 times a month) to keep the site fresh. Also, udpate some of your already written content to keep the SERPs busy updating your site.

Now this may be time consuming and you may need to hire a writer to manage this for you, but the effect is well worth it in the long run. You can even bookmark your blog site and submit it to a series of directories just to get a bit more backlinks on it and make that much more popular, but no need to go over board here as this is not your main site.
